About the Trust

Formation

The Ollie Feast Trust exists to celebrate the life and legacy of Ollie Feast who tragically died whilst visiting friends at University of Bristol in 2015. The Trust was formed in Cambridge in April 2015 by Ollie's close friends and family. We were granted charitable status in March 2018.

Objectives

Ollie was passionate in his support of the underdog and challenging or pushing to the limit one's personal capabilities. He had a huge enthusiasm for sport and travel.

Our stated aims are:

1. To help young people to develop their skills, capacities and capabilities and enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals, particularly but not exclusively by:

A) Making grants to young persons for travel (particularly where the individual would otherwise be unable to travel for reasons of financial hardship or otherwise);

B) Mentoring and coaching young people;

C)Providing other facilities and services which the Trustees may in their absolute discretion decide are required to benefit young people; and

D)The provision of recreational and leisure time activities provided in the interest of social welfare, designed to improve their conditions of life

2. To advance the education of children and young people in the subject of sport and physical recreation for the public benefit including by the provision of courses, training programmes and resources to enable, assist and encourage the education of such persons in sport and physical activity.
