Story
Little Acorns is a shelter and day care facility for children from the slums and the streets. We provide safety, food, rest and education. Breaking the cycle of poverty for illiterate and uneducated families.
We have limted education resources that are in desperate need of being replaced as is the storage unit in the picture. This is made of metal that has ripped. The children often try to get toys out through the ripped metal, risking slicing their arm open.

5 years agoSo world book day. Would anybody like to buy a book or set for children in India any early learning books are fab. They have number and letter book and hungry caterpillar but could so with shape, colour hygiene, emotion books etc. You can add to my just giving page and tell me what book you would like for them and I will try and acquire it from Amazon India for you and send a picture via facebook of your book in use.
