I‘m Adam Bedwell, I have been enjoying the benefits of cold water for the last 2 years. I started taking cold showers everyday and progressed to cold water river dips 5 months ago.

When I first went into the cold water I could only manage 35 seconds, the feeing during and afterwards was electric and I have been hooked ever since. Along with a few friends we have a created a group, we meet 2 or 3 times a week and dip in all weathers. Recently we have spent as long as 15 minutes in the water.

One of the group members set a challenge to go into the cold water everyday during the 31 days of March. I accepted the challenge and thought it would be a good opportunity to raise money for a cause that would benefit lots of children in Bungay, including my own.

The Friends of Bungay Primary School are raising money for this year’s school trips. So every child has the opportunity to experience a trip with their friends. I am taking part in this challenge to raise as much money as possible to help them reach their goal.
