Adam's Bench was installed today!! Thanks to your support - also the bench might have come in under-budget judging from the invoice from the Council so there's a potential donation to Oxfam, pending confirmation. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! To everyone involved and everyone who couldn't, thank you for being a part of Adam's bench fund and helping us reach the target. I had an email today from Hayle Town Council that they're picking up the plaque today, and will be installing the bench this week. I'll update again once it's installed. WE'VE HIT 75%!! Truly AMAZING effort by everyone involved. It's especially difficult donating around Christmas time so everyone's generosity is staggering - THANK YOU!! The latest from the Town Clerk is that Adam's bench is being renovated and everything's on the go. The bench is a 'Master Bench' and has cast iron sides, 9 wooden slats and will replace the one you see in the cover photo. The final cost includes 15 years of maintenance (grass cutting, repairs, and yearly slat removal and oiling). Massive thanks once again x
