I am extremely passionate about helping children going through hard times having been one of them myself. Education is free in my country but my family was in extreme poverty so instead of attending to school my mother and I used to spend our days selling oranges just to be able to eat. In the end she had me married off at the age of 15 so I could escape the poverty and hope for a better life than her own. I’ve been in England for 18 years now and I visit my home yearly and am witness to the same thing every time, children struggling for food, struggling for school and struggling to get access to medication, all because of the families they were born into. My aim is to help to make difference and to get young children and young adults into education and to equip them with skills for the future. This is why I would like to recruit the help of others to help make this a reality, thank you for your time.
