Hello :) So our story starts when we moved to a new area 2 years ago and when we looked around houses I noticed how small the bedrooms were. Of course, I wanted a bigger bedroom so my mum bought a 2 bedroomed property from Persimmon, little did we know about a leasehold property and all its baggage. For the past two years, my mum has juggled two jobs and fighting in a leasehold campaign so we can save up money to buy the free hold but even then we still have ground charges, etc. There’s always more to pay for which we simply cannot afford! But I’m so proud of her as she has managed to go to parliament, had an interview with the daily mail and helped so many families that also cannot afford these fees. She bought this house after being promised that the free hold was going to be sold to her for two thousand pounds but she was lied to as Persimmon were planning to sell it onto a company which would put the prices up to about ten thousand pounds and their allowed to because its their land that our house is on. But because of my mums campaign that has brought to light this problem, persimmon has now put a halt to its plans because of all this negative publicity.

But this has had a massive impact on my mums health as she’s had so much stress and after one of her contracts ending on her job, we’ve had even less money to pay for bills,  food, etc. So I’m asking you to donate a little money to help us out and i honestly would be so grateful to give her the money you’ve donated and so she can take some weight off of her back!
