We are Rotherham Deaf Connections...a new club for deaf children in Rotherham. Since opening our doors last September we have been overwhelmed at how many families of deaf children are attending our club.

Being deaf or hearing impaired can make it hard to join in activities, make new friends, and communication is often difficult. This often leads to feelings of lonliness and isolation.

Many of our families and children have fed back to us how our club is a positive, inclusive, welcoming and fun place for their child and family in terms of communication, support and advice.

The club needs to raise funds
to contiune this positive work. Fully inclusive experiences, trips, games, equipment and raising deaf awareness all adds up to become costly plans. So we are asking for a helping hand from anyone who wants to make a difference to the lives of deaf children in our area.

Together we can create a better future for the deaf children and families who attend our club.
