As many of you already know I sadly lost my Alfie-James on Monday 7th May 2018 when I woke to discover a nightmare that would be my new reality. My Son unfortunately had lost his life and become a beautiful angel just a couple of weeks before he would have been six months old.

As well as dealing with the immense pain and grief from my child passing away; I was having to plan his beautiful exit from this earth. I had to see my son, my heart and life, now just laid down, forever sleeping, which broke me.

I’m just a 21-year-old whose lost her whole entire world before its even begun. I had so many plans to do with Alfie which I will now have to complete alone for Alfie, in his wonderful memory.

Everything is in memory and remembrance to him. We will provide non-prejudicial and non-judgemental support, help and information for grieving parents and families who have lost a baby, toddler or child; services aimed towards young parents and families in particular. Also provide the general help and the support that’s needed after the loss of a baby or toddler.

A main goal is to allow all grieving parents to feel their child is comfortable by providing respectful, beautiful Moses baskets or Cold Cots/Caskets to the parents and/or families. Also that there is support for the parents and families that are grieving or that have been bereaved with proper actual support for each family as I had very little support offered to me.

Another aim is to provide comfort teddies for resting angels or to their families to remember their angel baby or child as well as support and general help with care and resources required after the loss of a baby or toddler/child.

As well as all this one main goal is also for all nurses/Doctors to be updated with all symptoms/diagnoses, so they know how to best help and treat a baby, toddler or child.
