Every year, Lewes area primary schools hold an arts project, culminating in a parade through the town, called Patina, to celebrate the children moving on to senior school. The children create costumes and artwork with local artists, around a theme.
This year it's Alfie and his friends chance to celebrate moving on !!
He is going to walk approximately twelve miles along the South Downs Way this weekend, from the Jack & Jill to Lewes town centre, finishing along the route of the parade.
The funds raised help to pay for materials and the artists' time with the children.
