I will be running/walking the Cardiff Half Marathon to raise funds for #RR81, the legacy fund which has been set up in Rhys Rubery's name to maintain his memory.

Rhys was an amazing young man - musical, sporty and academic. Tragically, Rhys didn’t get to see his amazing GCSE results - 5A* and 8As. Rhys joined air cadets & flew a plane. He was a blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do & played hockey for his local club and South East Wales. He played guitar, piano and drums And took the time to teach a local 5 year old to play guitar too.

Rhys was kind, funny & honest. He had both time and respect for others. Above all he loved his family & was the most considerate son, brother and grandson.

On 12th July 2016 he was knocked over by a motorbike. He is deeply missed.

His family have pursued a legacy fund which reflects his ambitious nature and enthusiasm for education. Please donate, even a little, so that this goal can be realised and Rhys' memory maintained in a manner he would have truly loved.
