Bucks and Berks Recruitment have come together on behalf a special little boy, Oliver Warner, who is currently fighting a terrible disease - Neuroblastoma.

His mother, Jo, previously worked for Bucks and Berks and In early 2016, Jo was due to return from maternity leave following the birth of her second son when Oliver, her first born, was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma at just 3 years old. Oliver went on to fight this childhood cancer and following lengthy treatment was put in to remission. Devastatingly, Oliver relapsed in January 2018. Relapsed Neuroblastoma is incredibly hard to treat and the chances of survival drop to less than 10% with treatment options becoming more limited. Jo is now fundraising in the hope that Oliver will reach full remission again and be able to access a treatment in the U.S. that is not available on the NHS.

Bucks and Berks have now made Solving Kids with Cancer our company charity. Oliver’s appeal has now changed to URGENT and they are aiming to raise £150,000 before Christmas to get him to Barcelona for treatment in January.
