This year St Brendans Sixth Form college have offered their students the chance to take part in the Gold Duke of Edinburgh award. Each student will need to work on all 4 sections doing a physical activity, volunteering in their community, learning a skill and completing a 4 day hike over over rugged terrain using map reading and camping skills. The students and their parents are paying to benefit from this fantastic opportunity already but because this is the first year of involvement the college must pay an additional 6 month charge to register. These funds are not readily available so this is where we would really appreciate your help.
