Story
What is Baan Unrak?
Our friend Oddrun has helped set up Baan Unrak, which is an orphanage and school in Sangkhlaburi, near the Burmese border in Thailand.
There are many Burmese refugees in this area, fleeing war, forced labour and poverty in Burma/Myanmar. The refugees are considered stateless, and are trapped with no rights, poverty and lack of opportunities.
This summer we are travelling to visit the orphanage and would like some help with fundraising.
Objective
The main fundraising objective to save for COMPUTERS for the 200 children.
How’s the money getting there?
Your funds will be given directly to the school and invested in new computers and other technology that the school children need to increase their chances to break out of poverty.

A great idea and a wonderful opportunity for privileged children to see how many others have to live. Education is a route out of poverty and this is a chance for them to succeed.
