Hi my name is Lyn,

Over the last few years myself and my partner have had many trips to Gambia, we love the way of life and have made many friends whilst over there.

We've seen first hand the poverty in the area that we stay in and for this reason I now sponsor some of the children that attend the Bakoteh School, on a recent return visit I was shown the school and had an idea to build a library to help with the childrens education, I noticed that the facilities were very poor and there was no proper structure for toilets or washing facilities!

At present the children have to use holes in the ground and what system was in place has rotted and collapsed, there is a very high risk of infection as the holes that the children have to use are overflowing with excrement/urine.

My mission is to raise as much money as possible to build the toilets for the children. I have builders that will donate their time to help build these facilities but I need all the help I can get in helping raise the money for the materials for this project. No donation is too small.
