Not many people would describe Ben as the sporty type. But nonetheless, he is training to complete an adult olympic triathalon distance (swim 1.5k, cycle 40k, run 10k) to raise funds for the international Scouts jamboree.

He has been invited, along with 50,000 Scouts from 220 countries, to go to Virginia USA for 3 weeks in August 2019. He has to raise £3900, both to fund the costs of his trip, and also to contribute to the costs of Scouts coming from less affluent countries.

He has already raised over £2000, much from selling his own baking, and now he needs the final push.
