    Story

Brechin High School has a proud history of supporting the victims of genocide, street children and others in need in Rwanda through the charity Comfort Rwanda & Congo. This charity has supported care and relief projects, education, income generation and training, community development and church training in Rwanda since 1999. This year is the 25th anniversary of the genocide that killed up to 1,000,000 Tutsis, and a group of 10 young people from Brechin High School will be travelling to Kigali in October.

Whilst this is a fantastic opportunity for the 10 young people involved, it is most certainly not a holiday. They will be working on a number of the charity's projects, and will have the opportunity to learn about forgiveness and reconciliation from both the survivors and perpetrators of the genocide.

Any amount you can spare to support this cause would be greatly appreciated.
