Story
To commemorate the life of the dearly loved sporting hero, Andy Hallas, his family and friends are hosting a charity cricket match down at Armitage Cricket Club on Sunday 5th August 2018.
We're aiming to raise a heap of money for some extremely worthy causes supported by the Hallas family. However, as the charities are yet to be confirmed, we wanted to get the ball rolling with this crowd funding page to let the fundraising begin as we've got a few things we'd like to put money towards.
One of the biggest things we'd like to do to honor the life of our hero is to raise enough money to purchase a memorial bench which will sit pitch side next to his late wife, Joanne's, bench down at Armitage Bridge Cricket Club.
We'd like to get the bench ordered and hopefully have the grand reveal at his Big Bash so all your donations will help us achieve this.
Furthermore, all other donations will be going towards supporting the wonderful, regional charity, Yorkshire Cancer Research.
We thank you all for your incredible support.

So glad the day went well and so sorry I couldn't have made it. What a hero Andy was, the only person I've played cricket with who attached velcro to his gloves! I 😁😁😁
