Acting is a skill used by everyone in the world. Believe or not, you "act" every single day - whether you're trying to get a discount on your monthly Sky subscription or your presenting at a press conference, we all act to achieve an objective. But how many times did you get the opportunity to hone this skill as a child? With so many opportunities available in the commercial world, we feel that there is a need (and a demand) for drama activities in the UK that not only focus on quality but the cost to parents.

Who are we?

Big Bold Youth was founded in 2015 and established as a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (limited by guarantee) in 2017 with a mission to provide affordable and accessible drama activities for young people across the UK. Since the beginning, we have provided hundreds of activities for children and teenagers, from educational workshops at schools to weekly drama classes in Buckinghamshire and Surrey.

What are we using the money for?

We need to raise £15,000 over the next 12 months in order to open 6 more performing arts schools in Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Surrey and Sussex. We also would like to provide 50 free educational workshops in these areas to schools.
