    Story

The Hannah Ministry in Byumba is a small organization that encourages individuals to sponsor an orphaned child. This is currently done through the UK charity 'Friend of Byumba'. A team of five of us from Boldre went to Byumba recently and visited with the children and women of the Hannah Ministry. We were told that they receive one meal a day and that they stay with other families in the village. The facilities at the Hannah Ministry were limited and some children looked in very poor health.

What we would like to do is to raise this money in order to create 22 packages for the 15 children and 7 women, which include bedding, food, hygiene products and some soft toys for the children, in the hope that they will be healthier and happier. This is a short-term 'solution' to a large problem and hopefully with your help we can create a more sustainable solution for the futures of these children
