Earlier this year our eldest son, Charlie spent several weeks in the care of the staff, both on Ward 29 (the children's medical ward) and the play centre at Ninewells Hospital. He suffered from Sepsis arthritis, a condition we were completely unaware of before he became ill. Our youngest son, Lough also spent some time in the same ward when he was only weeks old, as he was suffering from Bronchiolitis.
The play centre is run by a superb team of qualified play specialists and provides a lifeline to many of the sick children. Their efforts make a real difference to the care of the children and help to provide a normal environment during their stay in hospital. All of the entertainment, toys and equipment are donated and they rely solely on these kind donations through fundraising events. Therefore we would like to raise some funds in order to provide some items which are on their wish list!

So we have organised a charity tractor road run which will start and finish on our farm in rural Perthshire. All tractors are welcome; old or new! Lunch will be provided for everyone who attends and we will finish the day with a raffle. We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of local businesses who have donated prizes.
We are aware that not everyone can attend the road run for various reasons, one of the most popular being not having a tractor but you don't need a tractor to attend this event. Just come along, enjoy the day, have some lunch, get some raffle tickets and enjoy the array of tractors! For those that can't join us you can still donate using this page!
Your donation will help raise money to fund equipment to support patients, as well as helping to provide simple things like books, toys and batteries for gadgets.
