We are raising funds for two organisations - Abigail's Footsteps and Cherished Whispers who massively helped me when my daughter Mia Verrin was stillborn on 7th October 2017.

Abigail's Footsteps provided us with a cold cot which enabled us to spend a night with our baby following her stillbirth in October 2017. The cold cots are not funded through the government and hospitals solely rely on donations to enable them to get access to one. Abigail's Footsteps are trying to improve bereavement training in healthcare professionals for those who tragically suffer the loss of a child also.

Cherished Whispers provided us with a memory box for our little girl and provides us with lots of comfort on those down days. The box includes; a pad and a pen so bereaved parents can write down their thoughts and feelings, a 'hope' bracelet charm to encourage you to look forward to the future, a memory card with photos of your baby, your baby's foot and hand prints, a tape measure which gives you the circumference of your baby's head, a bear which you keep and leave a matching one with your baby and finally, a candle to light your way in your darkest hours. The charity solely relies on donations to enable them to continue to make these memory boxes.
