For those of you not familiar with Keech, they are a registered charity providing hospice care for adults and also children who have life-limiting and terminal illnesses. I know we all donate to charity but I’m sure we will all agree that Keech is a particularly deserving cause with the work they do. I am trying to raise funds to send a group of 5 or 6 children from Keech on a week’s holiday to the ‘Calvert trust’. The holiday would give these children the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and partake in as many activities as possible, such as horse riding, rock climbing, canoeing, sailing and many other outdoor pursuits by utilising specialist, adaptive equipment. Each child would be able to take along parents or siblings to experience the week together. It would help them to build in confidence and improve their self esteem by taking part in adventurous outdoor activities in a stunning environment. Having spoken with several people they have mentioned that they would like to donate to this project and have asked if I have a donation page they can use.
