Hello,

It would have been my mums birthday today and instead of sharing a sad story about how i miss her on facebook, ive ddecided to try and raise some funds towards her memory plot so that on days like today her loved ones can go and visit her and share stories. We really didnt want to have to do it this way and would have liked to have just paid for it ourselves but we are finding it difficult to get the funds together.

Helen passed away after a horrific and short battle with Cancer almost four years ago. Unfortuntely, after many visits to the doctors (and them telling her she is suffering from anxiety and panic attacks!? One doctor even promsied her she didnt have cancer after she mentioned that she believed she did) she was finally diagnosed with cancer by a junior doctor who decided to send her for very simple bloods. However, at this point it was too late and it was terminal. She went through rounds of Chemo and Radio therapy and fought right up until the very end.

Everyone who knew my mum would know that she was such a kind and giving person and she would always give to those in need. She was a beautiful person, inside and out and i truly believe she deserves a place where she can finally be at peace and rest.
