Hi, my name is Chloe, I am 13 years old and very excited to have been invited to represent Essex and the UK at the 24th World Scout Jamboree 2019.

The Jamboree is a World Scouting event for young people which takes place every 4 years with over 40,000 scouts attending - wow!, it will be jointly hosted by the Scouts Canada, Scouts of Mexico and the Boy Scouts of America and will take place at the Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve in West Virginia, USA.

By attending this amazing event, I will get the chance to meet Scouts from around the world to experience new adventures, cultures and friendships which will have a positive impact not only on scouting but also my local community.

For me to be able to take part I need to raise a large sum of money, this money goes towards; attending the event, uniform, training, travel, accommodation and provides the experience of a lifetime, not only for me, but also for Scouts from less fortunate countries to also take part. I have been working hard to fundraise the money with my Scout Troup by doing lots of bag packing, quiz nights, cake stalls, fun runs, fetes etc, but still need your help, if you could kindly provide a donation to help support me with the overall cost, however large or small – it would be gratefully received – thank you.
