I have done this as a crowdfunding (Personal) page as I will be using the funds to buy all the shoebox goodies and pay for the shipping as one transaction (for all the boxes) so we can track where they go, like last year. The page close date is OCTOBER 15TH just so I am able to use the funds to get everything for the day - it means all you have to do is bring yourself (and you can bring a box if you have one).

For the last 2 years a few of us got together (the numbers keep going up :).) to fill some shoeboxes for the SP mission. “Christmas“ shoeboxes filled with everyday essential things (toothbrush, soap etc.) get sent out to children who are less fortunate than many and living in poverty. Whilst I totally agree with people that there is SO much that can be done everywhere in the world, including on our doorstep(!) for me, the thought of a child not even knowing its Christmas day and actually getting excited about toothbrushes and things we take for granted everyday, makes me want to do my part in seeing more children feel loved and special, and deserving of some gifts!

On the 4th November there is a group of my friends and family and whomever they may bring along - everyone is welcome (the more the merrier) getting together and packing shoeboxes full of items bought with their (much appreciated) donations ❤️

This year we're aiming for 60 boxes! This goal works out at £12-13 a box which we're aiming will also cover shipping (minimum £3 suggested £5 per box). ANY amount would be appreciated SO much to help us in sending as many as we can!
