Christos was a part of our Nando's Maidstone family, on 20th July, on a busy Friday night, Chris went on break and sadly he never came back. He was 26 and had already completed one degree and was looking to do a second. His girlfriend of five years, Matina, was moving to the UK to do a masters and they were going to finally work together and be together again. Chris was a brilliant nandoca and the hole in our family has broken our hearts. When he started he was so shy and 2 years on we couldn't silence him if we tried! A bright, kind and funny young man, he was very loved and he is very missed.

Christos was the sole financial support to his mother (in the picture) and younger brother, both whom are unable to work. Chris sent money home to look after those he loved. Sadly it took a long time to get Chris home to his loving family and a lot of stress. Not only will they struggle without this amazing person, the support he offered is now gone.

As a team we redecorated our staff room in memory of Chris in Greek colours and they have all chosen to send their staff tips to support his family.

We know we cannot guarantee them the support he would have offered for life but we want to do everything we can to make the next year or two a bit easier for them.

All money raised will be sent to Christos' Mum and brother. Chris was home in June just before he passed away and this was the last picture with his Mum.

Please consider the person you love most not only losing you but losing financial security. Chris would be heartbroken leaving his family and we want to do everything we can to honour everything he can now not do.
