I have set up this page as I intend to build a water pump in my late grandma’s memory, to help an entire village access clean water. I kindly request you to help me fulfill this goal, by donating as much as you wish. If merely 60 people donate £5, one water pump will be built. Even if you cannot donate, please help and show your support by sharing the link on your profiles as it is the intention that counts most.

The goal is to build it in Bangladesh where so many villagers can benefit. You can transform lives for many families as your money will help bring clean water to communities in need. This is also a very good way of offering Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity) as you can expect to reap Allah’s blessings for as long as the well supplies water.

Drinking dirty, diseased water is one of the most common causes of death in the developing world (killing one child every minute)- but also one of the most preventable. Most of us have been blessed with access to clean water and the means of helping others. So with your donation, you could be saving countless lives for years to come. In the Quran it was stated that whoever saves one – it is as if he had saved mankind entirely. Prophet Muhammad (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) also said: ‘The best form of charity is giving water (to drink)' (Ibn Majah).
