Weʼve raised £1,360 to Support Great Ormand Street Hospital and the Queen's School Kew
- Funded on Friday, 31st May 2019
Don't have time to donate right now?
Story
On Saturday 18th of May 2019 a team of riders, including myself, will embark on a sponsored cycle from The Queen’s School in Kew, South West London to Brighton. A distance of 55 miles/88 Kilometres over very hilly terrain.
Funds raised will be used to support sick children and their
families in honour of students from Queen’s School who have recently received or still are receiving treatment at Great Ormond Street Hospital. One such student started school with my daughter but has since dropped back a year following lengthy treatment at the hospital.
Funds will also be donated to support the activities of the school
and enhance the environment for students. After getting by in a temporary structure built in the seventies the school has finally moved into a new building and the focus of this fundraising will be to regenerate the school library.
