Dan & I have decided this year we are both going to complete Dry January in aid of raising money for 2 special people who lost their lives on the 28th November 2018.

Firstly Luke my Hero of a Cousin who lost his life protecting others due to an attack on his compound in Afghanistan whilst he was protecting the British Embassy . Luke's death has impacted everyone he knew. He was so well loved and is missed incredibly especially by his Mum, Dad, Sisters, Partner Helen & gorgeous son Tommy. The money raised will be donated to 'Help 4 Homeless Veterans' http://www.help4homelessveterans.org/. This is a charity who help former Veterans who are facing homelessness. Nobody should ever have to face not having a roof over their head, especially someone who has served for our country. I have chosen this charity as it is the charity which Luke aimed to be able to support himself if he had still been here.

Secondly my friend Matt who took his own life after a battle with mental health. Matt was such a caring & down to earth guy who is missed by many. The money raised will go to 'MIND' https://www.mind.org.uk/. A charity who supports anyone dealing with mental health issues. Mind is also close to my own heart for many other reasons and I believe Mental Health is not talked about enough From anxiety, panic attacks to depression and suicide 1 in 4 of us deal with some form of mental health every year. So if the money we raise can help at least 1 person get the help they need it will be worth it.

The money raised will be split 50/50 between both 'Help for Homeless Veterans' & 'MIND'. Any donations no matter how big or small are greatly appreciated. Every £1 helps! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! <3 xxx
