Corey-Jay is a wonderful, funny, witty 8 year old little boy. Since November, he had complained of awful headaches and sickness, with lots of doctor and hospital app, saying he was ok. His mum and dad pushed on and the last option they could think of was opticians appointment which was visited the end of march and the lovely lady looked in to Corey-Jays eyes, and saw fuzziness to his optic nerve, sent him straight to A&E with a letter to be seen straight away.

That's when everything started unraveling, MRIs showed Corey had a brain tumour inside his brain and two on his spine. He was sent straight away for brain surgery to remove the tumour. The surgery was successful, but left Corey-Jay with limited vision from his left eye and poor mobility in his left side, he is having to learn to speak, swallow and walk again.

We thought this may be it, once the tumour was gone, but they hit us again with the news that Corey the warrior had cancer of the brain and spine.

He has done stem cell harvesting and was so very brave and had to lay still for 5 hours! He is due to start intensive radiotherapy and chemotherapy Next week.

I have put £3000 to cover some bits for a trip for him and his family to Disney land, when the time is right. Corey is being such a brave little boy and is currently very poorly, this is the only thing he has asked for and is his dream, something for him to smile and look forward to in amonst the heartbreak.
