Dear all

We are all aware that Ian has been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease and what effects that this can have on the body, etc.

In addition, we will be aware that there is no cure for this horrible disease and I am sure we are all distraught and feel somewhat helpless about this.

For this reason, I am embarking on a number of challenges, some which will be epic and some that others can join in with, to firstly raise money to send Ian and his family on an amazing holiday. I will keep you updated with these challenges and welcome anyone wishing to join.

On Friday 22nd March I ran 45 miles from Washington to Eastbourne on the South Downs Way in 7 hours and 15.

On Saturday 13th April I ran the Magna Carta off road marathon in 3hours 21 minutes.

On Good Friday 19th April I cycled from my house in Northamptonshire to Ian's house in Leeds in 9 hours 58 minutes.

Next challenge...not sure but watch this space or if anybody would like to do one together or as a group that would be great. Just get in touch!
