Both my daughter and my partner's daughter compete regionally and nationally in this very poorly publicised sport, and the passion and dedication of the athletes is often unsupported by any registered bodies across the UK. My aim for the month of August 2019 is to try and raise as much money for the team and sport as possible to ensure the athletes get additional training and equipment where needed.

I have set myself a challenge to walk home from work one afternoon, the route from Exeter (Marsh Barton) to Paignton. The journey approximately 23 miles and estimated to take anywhere between 8 and 10 hours.

If I achieve the total target amount, any additional donations shall be sent to Diabetes UK in support of my best friend who has been a type 1 since a very young age in order to help similar people go through the physical and mental changes.
