Be Kind

My name is Daniel and I am 17 years old studying A level European languages, and have recently been accepted as a Police Cadet. I joined my school in the middle of Year 8 after enduring a life changing experience at the hands of a bully at a previous school. This became a catalyst for me to help others and support the less fortunate around me. I have watched with admiration, all the previous year groups who have been fortunate enough to travel to Refilwe, South Africa and make a difference to the lives of the community over there. I was recently invited to take part in the 2019 trip.

My fundraising idea involves raising money to jointly support the incredible:

Anti- Bullying Charity Kidscape UK

Calday Grange Grammar School Refilwe Project:The Children living in the disadvantaged Community of Refilwe, South Africa.

I am taking part in a charity tandem skydive, to celebrate and support the benefits of ‘Being Kind’. This, I feel, demonstrates courage and strength and celebrates life, and is a great inspiration to take with me to the children in South Africa. Community and family life is really important to me and I know that this really helped me when I felt no one understood.
