I've created this page on behalf of my daughter, my name's Siobhan and I'm the single mum with the neurological illness, the illness is intracranial hypertension, I've had it since I was pregnant with my daughter shes now 10 soon to be 11 so she has never know any different she just knows mummy is sick some days...I'm actually sick everyday however I only let it be seen on my extremely bad days. Intracranial hypertension causes migraine, vomiting, dizziness, loss of sight, tinnitus and there is no cure, I've had 3 L.P. shunt surgeries and multiple lumber punctures, I'm on 3 different types of medication daily just to help relieve some of the symptoms.
I do work full time before you ask however everyday is a struggle financially and ive taken alot of thought regarding whether i should raise this page or not because of that. However I do struggle to save for days where I can take my daughter out so she can be a child and not worry about looking after mum and where I am not worried how I am going to pay the bills because we had a day out.
I would love to take her away without any worries just for the day or weekend.
She does so much for me and I would love to be able to show her my appreciation by taking her away somewhere
