Lucy's story:

I am currently trying to raise money to participate in a once in a life time opportunity to be apart of my school's student exchange program to go over to South Africa, Soweto to see my new friends that I made in July when students from Soweto came over to Culcheth. It is not only an opportunity for me, it is for the students of Matseliso High School in Soweto also, as they get to take part in many activities that include us teaching each other about our different cultures.

I have a lot of fund raising activities planned, but my first one is to undertake a 24 hour treadmill challenge with 10 of my friends. One of us will be using the treadmill for every minute of the 24 hour period. The date of the challenge will be 5th January 2019.

On April 7th 2019 my Dad will be running the Manchester Marathon to help raise some money too. He's already started his training!
