David was loved very much by many people, his fun, friendly nature always put you at ease & you couldn’t help but smile when he did. He touched the hearts of so many of us, always generous with his time & putting others before himself. He will be greatly missed.

Madeleine & Oliver have many fond memories of their Dad too so my wish is to create a lasting memorial for them so that when they need a quiet place to go & remember him in private they can do it in the village & church he loved, Lighthorne.

Along with any donations we would love for you to share a special memory of David, this could be something as simple as spending time with him as a child, at school or at work to just a sentence about how you knew him. We will then have a really lovely compilation of thoughts to put in a book for the children to read.
