Our final update...If in the unlikely event we don't have the £3K required for Dawn's trip, then we know she would want every penny returned to you. We would like Dawn to enjoy some form of holiday with any funding money remaining...and/or to go to Dawn's charity of choice, which is here https://www.rasasc.org/ but for now, let's think positive and help Dawn raise the remainder of her money and get to Canada to meet her half siblings. Moving forward...Val and I continue to speak to folk about Dawn's story. We are considering moving the Just Giving page from the 'remembrance' platform, in memory of Dawn's mother, as repositioning it may help. I own a ladies boutique, called Ruby La La and at the beginning of July will be running a fundraising evening...I'll keep you posted. If anyone has any other idea's or suggestions or can offer help, we would be extremely grateful. This is such an amazing cause and would be a dream come true, for Dawn. Thank you!

So, an update... On the challenging side, Dawn has a medical condition and the insurance for Dawn's trip is quoted at £700, which we did not legislate for in the original figure of £2K. Also, her biological, half siblings are very excited about her trip, though due to their father's frail health and move to a nursing home, have reluctantly asked Dawn to postpone her trip to 2020. The positive is this gives us more time to raise another £2K and we would ask you to think about anyone you know who maybe sympathetic to the narrative of adoption.
