Two years ago my friend Antonia Armstrong visited a school in Malawi and was so moved by the dangerous conditions that young girls are exposed to in order to get an education. Many of the girls there suffer from abuse such as rape, even the walk to school can be fraught with danger. She decided along with the headmistress of the school to raise funds to build a dormitory on the school grounds so that the girls could stay in a safe environment. She has already raised enough money to build the structure and the roof is now on. Antonia eventually wants to build a toilet and shower block, however, the next step is bedding, beds and necessities for the girls etc. I am taking part in a skydive in the hope that I can raise money to help her achieve her goals. Any contributions great or small will add up to make a massive difference to the girls involved and will be very much appreciated.
