Dereck "Del Boy" Kinge

19th December 1953 ~ 7th April 2019

Our beloved Del Boy. Proud Son and brother, fiercely loved Father and Grandfather and most cherished friend.

Del was a shining light, uncomplaining despite his health issues and always thinking of others and putting them first. He brought joy and laughter to so many and as Tracy put it, will leave a giant Del Boy shaped hole in the world. He will forever be in our hearts and minds as a truly special person - one of life's good guys - the best.

He loved his music & had a fantastic recall for names of bands & was always brilliant on the quiz in The White Hart (Richard quiz master would not start until Del arrived).

Del will be remembered for many things, not least his "Kingerisms" Platitudes? nope, platipusses. Phenomenon? Nope, phemonimon. He laughed with us and at himself & we will never forget that smile and those twinkly blue eyes.
