    Story

We are Dylan's Journey and Finnley's Warriors. We represent the parents of our two sons who were both diagnosed with cancer in the same year.

At just 16 months old Finnley was diagnosed with Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma on the 11th April 2017. The cancer had spread to almost every organ of his body and he was left fighting for his life. Finnley faced 6 months of intensive treatment and responded very well. Finnley is now 3 years old and is 16 months in remission. He needs to reach 5 years of remission before he is classified as cured.

Weeks after Finnley finished his treatment his cousin Dylan aged 6 years old had been in and out of hospital with a variety of diagnosed problems. On the 22nd September 2017 Dylan was diagnosed with Metastatic Ewing's Sarcoma. The outlook for Dylan was very poor. Dylan gave the biggest fight ever and despite a number of moments where he became critically ill Dylan always fought  back harder and stronger than you could ever imagine. Dylan celebrated his 7th birthday in July 2018 and he finished his treatment on 8th August 2018. Beyond every doctor and consultants belief, Dylan had beaten his cancer and was deemed in remission on 9th May 2018.

Finnley was celebrating his 3rd birthday (a day early ) on the 22nd December 2018. Unfortunately Dylan couldn't attend as he had been suffering with headaches that week and had woken up quite unwell, so he was taken to hospital.

On 22nd December 2018 our worst fears came true. It was confirmed that Dylan had relapsed, tumours were found in his brain, he had just weeks to live.

The family came together over Christmas to give Dylan and his sisters the best time ever. Sadly on the January 31st at 3:33pm Dylan grew his wings, he did not leave without a fight. Dylan will forever be remembered as a true warrior, and now together with his cousin, we as their parents want to give back to the charities that help children during the most horrific experience of their life.
