Story
I’m taking part in an Inflatable 5K to raise money for Ronald McDonald House. The house provides a comfortable enviroment for sick children and their families, providing a “home away from home” accomodation
We give parents a place to stay while their seriously ill child is in hospital. Children come from all over Scotland and further afield to receive treatment at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow and other West of Scotland hospitals. Many need emergency treatment and can end up very far from home for weeks or months at a time. We help keep families together by providing free, high quality accommodation, only a few minutes walk from the hospital.
Visiting the Ronald McDonald House Glasgow gave more insight to what the house has to offer for the families of sick children. After our store raising a total of 5,000 last year we are looking to top that this year as we believe they deserve so much more for the hard work they put in to make the house a home. Any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated to reach my target!!!🤞🏽🤞🏽 It will also give me a little motivation to prepare myself for the inflatable 5K🥵😂
If anyone can spare a couple of ££s it will be going to an amazing charity that is so close to home ❤️
