Set up in 2016 in memory of Derek, the trust exists to continue his legacy and support aspiring Sea Cadets to go to Sea.

So far the trust has raised nearly £7000 and supported 14 cadets to obtain 7 day bursaries onboard one of the Sea Cadet sailing vessels.
