Hi, my name is Andrew and heres why i’m fundraising for Wishaws Neonatal Unit.

Our wee son Aidan was born at 25 weeks weighing a tiny fragile 1lb 15, he needed alot of intensive care to get to where he is today. A total of 109 days in hospital.

My wife and i spent three months in Wishaws Neonatal Unit before being transferred to Dumfries Royal infirmary. The level of care we received from the Doctors and Nurses was truly amazing and without them Aidan wouldnt be with us today. The staff supported us too being there for us on those bad days. We were also given a lovely flat to stay in next to the Hospital grounds so we were able to be with Aidan everyday and not having to worry about travelling 100 miles home. This also helped us financially not having to pay for hotels and other accommodation. My friend and i are skydiving on the 18th of August 2019 to raise money to help fund this fantastic Unit, so that other parents like us get to benefit from their tremendous care.

Our Family will be forever thankful for all the support and care given to our Aidan at the hardest time of our lives.
