Adam under treatment.

Adams Story,

Adam was born with Kidney Failure from birth, meaning he had to go through so much stress and support by the nurses and family, after a long battle, Adam had is first transplant around the age of 4. However not long after this the kidney failed which resulted him going back to the hospital, he was on dialysis machine for a long period of time, and of which Adam had to take injections and tablets which was very painful... after another couple of years battling life he was able to be matched with another donor, sadly this kidney never worked and he was back resulted to the hospital, after a long couple of years Adam was just reaching his 18th birthday, it was then this to be his third kidney, all he wished for was for this one to work and for him to have a normal life, Adam was so delighted his kidney worked and has now for the last couple of years, he is now and has been since the 3rd transplant kidney anti rejections tablets for life, if Adam doesn't take these tablets then the kidneys can fail at any time.

Since Adam was in hospital all of his childhood he never had mainstream school if any as he was to poorly to go to school however always wanted to learn, sadly he has learning difficulties which makes it hard for him to read and write and understand the basic of life skills. Adam went to college however was bullied and never allowed to do anything he desired as the teachers always use to put him down and told him to. be realistic in life,

Any how’s, currently Adam met his boyfriend Harvey, who has looked after Adam ever since they have been together, Harvey has shown Adam that there is more to life and you should be who you want to be and do what you want, after understanding all of Adams needs, and knowing that life is good at the moment however we never know what may happen , so we want to enjoy what we have now, Harvey managed to buy a house which we plan to use as a getaway and for other disadvantaged people who need somewhere to get away when life gets to much.

Current life:

Harvey works 6 days a week to pay the bills, he is also a self-taught photographer who does wedding photography to bring in some extra money to be able to live, its hard bringing in only one wage to the house hold even though you want to provide the best for each other,

Harvey (ME) was in foster care all of my childhood and managed to make something out of my life, I was awarded some money from the local social services due to them agreeing that they never looked after us as we should her been and was also mistreated in care, I knew that I would never be able to buy a home in the UK so managed to buy them house out right which would be perfect after some updating.

I never get to see Adam much as I am always working, 6 days of 7 is a long time, 8:00am until 6:00pm in the evening, by the time I get home, have dinner together its time for bed to then do it the next day, as Adam is a sedative person this also stresses him out, the idea of the house would be to make it a second home. some where we can spend time together, the ideal would be to go down to part time work once the house is updated to then show other people life experiences,

The House:

The house is a nice size 4 bedroom home, As you can see it does need updating, however with a little hard work and love this would make a beautiful place for people to come to and relax, just to get away from the world they are in, The idea as well with the land (1400 square metres) Would be to make it into nature gardens and a small pool to relax, including garden mood lighting a couple of horses for the nature walks along the valleys and rivers.

Harvey bought the house recently May 2018. we are flying out in September to go and measure what needs to be done in detail. (details to be updated soon)
