Story
Our captain Mrs Dudds has worked within Girls Brigade for over 50 years of her life, guiding and supporting girls in our local community. She has touched the lives of so many individuals. Known best for her role as camp cook, she gave up summer holidays to feed those attending the annual GB camps at Pwllheli. Her life centred around her work in Girls Brigade and she sadly passed away on 15th Feb 2018. Her daughter Kathryn Dudds and Granddaughter Ellen Cornish aim to continue running the company, providing opportunities for young girls aged 4 - 18 years in our local community. Funds raised in the memory of Mrs Dudds will be used to support the current Queens Award scheme. Further to this, and in a most fitting way, they will also be used to purchase some brand new cooking equipment for all of the girls to use and continue to bake with love, as she once did for us.
