I am trying to support orphans and children without basic needs in Kenya, both by raising funds for them as well as donating items to them. I was born in the UK and have lived here my whole life, but I've been able to go to Kenya a number of times and every time I go back I'm amazed by how happy and upbeat the children are even though they have very little resources to live off. I've never really been into the whole fundraising thing but one of my family members suggested it to me and I just decided to try and see how it goes. I have plans to go back and donate a bunch of clothes and any other items that would be useful to the children (probably like toys and other kid stuff). I am also trying to figure out a way to give some children a chance to be in a recording studio environment and explore their creative side, and try to infuse any creative energy they have with my own as I am a musician working on perfecting my craft. Doing the maths, to raise £1,000 all would need is 50 people to donate £20 or 100 people to donate £10, as well as myself making a donation. Any money donated will be very helpful in giving these young children access to elements of life that they probably have so little of, so if you could help me it would be much appreciated !
