In honour of Elodie‘s first birthday, on the 6th of April, Toby and I intend to install a library of books in the Sunbeam room ( the bereavement suite) at Airedale hospital.

We would love to supply an array of books for parents to read to their babies to help create lasting memories with them. We also wish to provide duplicate copies so parents may take home the precious book they shared with their child.

The time a bereaved parent gets to spend with their child is limited and a lifetime worth of memories has to be made in those few short hours or days. We never got the opportunity to read to Elodie and it is one more thing we have missed out on amongst the life time of memories we have lost.

We would be so proud to allow another family to be able to make these memories and even prouder that we can provide the books in memory of our sweet baby girl.
