Eleanor Wild was a beautiful, strong, determined and much loved young lady who touched the lives of all she met. She was an inspiration to her family and friends and lived to enlighten and surprise us all.

To mark her birthday date, her friends and family are organising a sponsored walk from St. Mary's lighthouse along the coast to Tynemouth on Saturday 18th May 2019 at 11.00. This is to raise valuable funds for Ward 52 at RVI, and will go towards purchasing new equipment that will continue to benefit patients in the future, as a thank you to the incredible staff who supported Eleanor and those close to her during her illness.

Eleanor taught us we can overcome many obstacles if we approach them with a smile and a song.
