I've been lucky (hmm) enough to be allocated a place in the 2019 London marathon. This will be my first marathon (and first half marathon, first 10k.. you get the picture).

Sadly in December 2018 my Grandad passed away, and it felt only right that I should run the marathon in his memory. I am therefore raising money for the Little Bridge House children's hospice as this charity was dear to his heart. My Grandma met the original founders of Little Bridge House and my Grandparents have made this their chosen charity to support over the years, including the donations from his funeral.

Any donation and support, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated.

I was going to do a clever line about donating the average cost of a G&T in the UK, however I have just googled this and it's £9.25 - shocking.
