Princess Alice is very dear to my heart. In 2013 I volunteered for 6 months and was instantly touched by the work that they do. Princess Alice looks after around 30 babies and toddlers at a time who have been abandoned, abused or orphaned. Everything at their facility is donated or bought through donations that they receive so you can imagine their wish list is extensive.

With £550 which equates to R10 000 they could not only purchases that months wishlist but also get some items that will brighten the children days.

A pivotal part of this home is the caretakers. While I volunteer here in May, I will also look to gift the carers with something to say thank you to them, for dedicating their lives, to the lives of the little ones.

Any donation big or small will be very well received and will go a long way.
